Is Yolanda Foster Quitting 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?'
After struggling for years with Lyme disease, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has offered support to Lavigne, who went public with her own battle earlier this week.
"I took Avril under my wing when she first got sick and shared all I know," Foster revealed during an interview on Wednesday with Bravo's The Daily Dish. "I am so proud of her for going public and helping us bring awareness to this debilitating disease."

In an interview with PEOPLE Magazine, Lavigne, who believes she was bit by a tick last spring, opened up about her illness.
"I had no idea a bug bite could do this. I was bedridden for five months. I felt like I couldn't breathe, I couldn't talk and I couldn't move. I thought I was dying. There were definitely times I couldn't shower for a full week because I could barely stand. It felt like having all your life sucked out of you."
Currently, Lavigne, who says she's about "80 percent" better, spends her days resting at her Ontario home, where her mother and husband, Chad Kroeger, are nursing her back to health.
"This was a wake-up call. I really just want to enjoy life from here on out," she added.
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Lyme disease "is transmitted to humans through the bite of infected blacklegged ticks. Typical symptoms include fever, headache, fatigue, and a characteristic skin rash called erythema migrans. If left untreated, infection can spread to joints, the heart, and the nervous system."
