In a new interview, the former housewife opened up about her faith, as well as her hopes for her two daughters.
“Like all good Cubans I was raised Catholic. I had a strict upbringing,” Quincoces told FOX411 on Wednesday. She said her faith helped give her clarity on who she was so when she faced challenges on the Bravo reality show, she didn’t compromise her values.
Quincoces, an author, joined the cast of Bravo's Real Housewives of Miami during the show's second season along with Joanna Krupa, Karent Sierra and Lisa Hochstein, but wasn't asked back for the show's third season as the others were.
When she was asked to join the series, Quincoces claimed she didn't hesitate becasuse she had nothing to hide.
“I know who I am, I know that there weren’t any skeletons in my closet," she explained. "There wasn’t a lot that anyone could dig up on me. I knew I couldn’t get in my trouble with the editing [of the show] because if you don’t say it, they can’t play it.”
As for her future, Quincoces plans to continue raising her daughters to be Godly women.
“I do want them to have a relationship with God,” she said. “They were raised in my house and we believe that we’re very lucky and been embrace by God in many ways.”
