The movie version of the E.L. James sexy novel "Fifty Shades of Grey" continues to create a massive amount of buzz over who'll ultimately be handed the role of Christian Grey. While some of the names in the running were clearly chosen by knowledgeable fans who are familiar with the Grey character's attributes, a handful of potential suitors are seemingly far-fetched.

Although musician Leona Lewis didn't volunteer herself along with apparent crush Liam Payne of "One Direction," she randomly stated that she wouldn't be opposed to Chris Brown landing the role of Grey. Lewis had voiced her casting opinion on the "Fifty Shades" flick to Capital FM on Tuesday.

"For Christian Grey it has to be someone really hot and super smooth. Why am I just thinking of Chris Brown?"

For casting purposes, Brown clearly has none of the physical characteristics that James' had penned about in her books. However, the R & B artist does have similar love problems, as he's reportedly in the process of a real-life romance triangle that involves both Karreuche Tran and the on-again, off-again Rihanna.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" is the very first book in a trilogy that revolves around S & M sex between a young college student Anastasia Steele and billionaire businessman Grey. Focus Features and Universal Pictures had purchased the rights to the "Fifty Shades" feature earlier this year after the racy read garnered the attention of over 20 million people.

Author James and the producers involved with the highly-anticipated motion picture have continued to stay relatively mum on the casting process. Only time will truly tell who ends up with the Grey role and just who will play Ana, his love interest.

Although screenwriter Kelly Marcel is now in charge of developing the screenplay, no release date has yet to be announced thus far.
