Demetria McKinney got lots of attention after she was involved in a controversial relationship on her debut season of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta; now she's revealed if her drama was enough to keep her on the show.

Amid rumors that she was given the boot (and that producers went as far as "banning" her from the reunion taping), McKinny cleared the air with Hello Beautiful Tuesday.

"This is completely untrue. Let me 'Keep it 100.' I was not 'banned' from the reunion set nor was I fired from the show. I am under contract for this season just like the rest of the cast."

McKinney, who starred in the popular TBS series Tyler Perry's House of Payne, added that being on the show has opened up doors for amazing opportunities;,which sounds like the reason she was absent during the reunion filming.

"In addition to continuing to support 'RHOA,' I am currently busy with my live performances."

Some of those shows include a concert series, Funkfest Tour, with R&B greats like R. Kelly, SWV and Erykah Badu.

On top of progressing in her singing career, McKinney took to Instagram to reveal she'll also be coming back to the small screen. Actresses Essence Atkins and Vivica A. Fox were also part of the new series.

She wrote the caption, "I can't say too much now, but I just shot a great sitcom pilot with these beautiful actresses, @essencesays and @msvivicafox. #workingactress #100 #TradeItAll".

McKinney will still be on the remainder of the season of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The show airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
