Joe Giudice Is In Talks For His Own Reality Series Or Special
However, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star won't actually do any addition time. Although Giudice was ordered to serve 18 months behind bars, his sentence will run concurrent with the 41-month sentence he was dealt last year for charges of bank and wire fraud.
"He received 18 months concurrent with the federal. The whole intent of the sentence is he will not do an extra minute of time,” attorney Miles Feinstein told CBS New York on Thursday.
Teresa Giudic Rocks Curls In First Snapshot In Jail
In October, Giudice and his wife, Teresa, receieved their sentences for fraud. In court, Joe was given a 41-month term, which he will begin serving in early 2016, when Teresa completes her 15-month term.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Joe and his four daughters, Gia, Milania, Gabriella and Audriana, were in talks for their own reality series or special. The show, which has yet to get Teresa's approval, would follow the Giudice family as they attempt to navigate through life with Teresa behind bars.
According to E! News, Teresa wants to know more about the possible show before she agrees to let her husband and daughter begin filming. If she does agree, a source claimed production would begin in a few months.
The Giudice family is not expected to be a part of the upcoming seventh season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, which is currently being casted.
