It's probably safe to assume the band had another late writing and recording session since they seem to have accumulated many of those over the last couple of months.
On Thursday, a fan tweeted about how 5SOS' old material was better lyrically, but the newer material is better musically; however, Michael Clifford butted in to shoot down the kind of diss about their lyrical abilities.
"[T]he new album is a lot deeper lyrically!!" Clifford insisted.

Thursday night, Clifford even tweeted about having long days and even longer nights, which probably has something to do with all of their late night writing and recording sessions especially with Benji and Joel Madden.

Just last week, the Good Charlotte rocker tweeted about how incredible 5SOS' new album is sounding. It sounds like all the late nights are totally paying off!
"So good man," he gushed while mentioning the album reminds him of his band's 2002 album The Young and the Hopeless.
