Bethenny Frankel is not bringing her daughter in front of the cameras for this next season of the Real Housewives of New York, and it looks like she has a good reason behind it, too. The reality television star opens up about making this next season of the show more about her and how she's keeping her personal and family life out of it.

According to USA Today on Friday, Frankel opened up about being a Housewife again and how she would rather focus on personal growth than the drama on the show.

As far as her 4-year-old daughter Bryn not being on the show, she said, "Everyone says it's because she's not allowed. Kids with microphones on them, it's not natural. I've chosen this. This season, it's me, it's my decision. I'm not bringing anybody into it."

Even with that being said, Frankel also says she has no regrets about showing her wedding, birth and family life on television.

She said, "I don't believe in regret. Would I do anything like that again? No. I do think that fame and money and power can be, for certain people, a very bad thing. And can be the root of all evil. If people haven't had it and have it and then it's taken away, they do crazy things."

Frankel even added that being a successful businesswoman and celebrity might have contributed to the demise of her marriage to soon-to-be ex-husband, Jason Hoppy.

"I think certain elements of my career and success and life and lifestyle have made an exit infinitely more challenging. Got me?" she added.

The Real Housewives of New York airs on Bravo this Sunday.
