'Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars' Eliminations: Week 3 Double Trouble Recap
For the first time this season, viewers said goodbye to two celebrities during the week 3 eliminations of the ABC television competition "Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars."
Taking their last dance in front of the audience and judges on Tuesday, Oct. 9, were couples Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya, and Helio Castroneves and Chelsie Hightower.
Lachey has complained before that he did not understand the judge's scores; they gave him a 24 out of 30 after a routine that he creatively directed and performed on Monday with his partner to Beyonce's "Crazy in Love." When he was eliminated, he again complained that the judges just do not get him. Castroneves on the other hand, thanked the judges and audience, and expressed his love for the show.
Kristie Alley and Sabrina Bryan were both in jeopardy to go home.
Tuesday's show ended with next week's challenge: the celebrities will choose the dance styles for their competitors, and some of the dances have never been done on the show before. Paula Abdul will also be a guest judge next week.
Next week's lineup of dances is as follows:
Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd - Bollywood
Sabrina Bryan and Louis Van Amstel - Disco
Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke - Bolero
Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff - Hip-hop
Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani - Jitterbug,
Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy - Contemporary
Kirstie Alley and Maks Chmerkovskiy - Charleston
Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas - Rock & Roll
