"I'm playing in the Masters," Woods wrote. "It's obviously very important to me, and I want to be there. I've worked a lot on my game and I'm looking forward to competing. I'm excited to get to Augusta and I appreciate everyone's support."

The last time Woods was spotted playing was on the PGA Tour at the Farmers Insurance Open in February where after he announced he would be taking an indefinite break from golf.

After his announcement, fans speculated whether he was stopping because he had failed a drug test.

The Washington Post reported that the answer was: No, he did not.

"These claims are absolutely, unequivocally and completely false," Mark Steinberg said. "They are unsourced and unverified and completely ridiculous."

According to the online publication, golf pro Dan Olsen made the claims on 730 The Game radio station last Friday.

"I've heard that he's suspended," Olsen said on Mad Dog in the Morning. "I heard he's on a month's suspension. And it's not, it's kind of a strong witness. It's a credible person that's telling me this. Well, it's not testosterone, but it's something else."

The Washington Post also reported that Olsen told ESPN: "Everything I said on that radio interview was only my opinion and not based on any first-hand knowledge or facts. I want to make a full retraction to everything I said for the entire radio interview. And I apologize to Tiger, Nike, Phil [Mickelson], [Commissioner] Tim Finchem and the PGA Tour."

The Vice President of the PGA Tour, Ty Votaw also spoke up about the rumors saying that it was required for them to announce his suspension.

"There is no truth whatsoever to these claims. We categorically deny these allegations."
