Things will fall apart some in the next episode, titled 'Winning Ugly,' of The Good Wife.

Finale Date For Season 3 Of The Good Wife Revealed

According to the preview, Diane (Chirstine Baranski) will be caught in a mess relating to Cary's (Matt Czuchry) case. Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) had directed Diane to solve evidence to get Cary off, and Diane unknowingly used it without knowing that it was baseless. Now the two might be found out, and Diane will be taking issue with Kalinda. There is no guessing how this will eventually pan out, but it could also put Cary back in the hot seat, as he was aquitted on false evidence. Meanwhile, this would also incriminate Diane and Kalinda. One thing that is known for sure is that Kalinda will be exiting the show, and this could be a trigger for her leaving. In the clip, Diane is seen worried about how this could be a "disbarrable offense for her."

The synopsis also reveals that new State's Attorney Alicia (Julianna Margulies) will have a ton of covering up to do to hide her tracks that led her to winning the campaign. More interestingly, she will be fighting a possibly recount. For this she will be taking assistance from Spencer Randolphin, a civil rights lawyer played by guest star Ron Rifkin.
