Word is that Columbus Short, who recently starred in ABC's Scandal before a real-life scandal that got him let go from the series, will be seen on the sophomore season of Empire.
While there's no chance Short will return to Scandal considering his character, the sly and fast-talking Harrison, was killed off, it looks like fans will still be able to see him on the small screen.
He told E! News Thursday, "Big things are happening. I'm going to be bridging my music career and my acting career. I'm just saying it wouldn't be a shock," implying he was heading over to Empire.
As for Scandal, viewers can attest that even though a character is said to have died, there's always a chance they will come back. So the door isn't completely closed for Short's return, and he said he's all for it if the opportunity presents itself again.
"I won't lie. I do miss it. I miss it a lot. [I'm] 1,000 percent sure [I would return]. It's like breaking up with your girlfriend...It's like, 'Oh man, let's just hook up a couple of more times.'"
The Stomp The Yard actor also recently confessed he was having issues with alcoholism and cocaine abuse. Now that he's clean, he reassures fans they haven't seen the last of him and that it will only get better.
"I'm not only back but it's about to be a problem for Hollywood because we'r going to go big I'm excited, but I'm also humbled and grateful."
Take a look.
