There's speculation that Duggar might have to be induced if she goes over her 42-week period, as is suggested by many practitioners in the medical field. Duggar, however, has not made any comments about her status, although it is rumored that she might be giving birth at home.

Her husband, Derick Dillard, recently shared his excitement on becoming a new father for the first time in a special blog post with his fans.

He wrote, "I can't even describe right now the anticipation I am feeling, as I am about to get to meet my firstborn son for the first time face to face. So many people have already testified that nothing can quite describe that moment and that I'll just have to experience it for myself."

Duggar and Dillard married back in June of last year in front of 1,000 of their closest friends and family. They announced their pregnancy almost immediately after tying the knot in late July of last summer. There was also speculation that they might be getting their own spinoff show as well.
