After the prosecution rested their case last week, court resumed on Monday, and Hernandez's attorney's called their first witness to the stands, a doctor who says that PCP can cause people to act violently after smoking it.
On Monday, NBC News reported that during cross-examination, prosecutor Patrick Bomber showed Dr. David Greenblatt a video of Hernandez and his alleged accomplices Carlos Otiz and Ernest Wallace, just 3 minutes after Lloyd's death and they appeared to be fine.

Greenblatt testified that he could not tell if the men were under the influence of PCP during the time the footage was shot however he did say that the drug could cause people to act differently several days after being used.
The defense says that they plan to call two more witnesses to the stand and then they will rest its case.
Based on their evidence, the prosecutors have concluded that Hernandez and his two friends, Ortiz and Wallace, picked Lloyd up at his home in Boston, drove him to the industrial park, and shot him to death.
Even if convicted of the murder or acquitted of the charges, Hernandez will remain behind bars due to the fact that he is facing two other murder charges for allegedly killing two men back in July of 2012.
Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to the charges surrounding both cases, and he currently remains in the jail without bail.
