'House of Cards' Season 4 Spoilers: Claire To Murder Frank In Next Chapter? [VIDEO]
House of Cards will return in 2016 with season 4 and we have some predictions for the next chapter judging by how this one went.

We have a sneaking suspicion that the Netflix drama will in someways stay true to the BBC original and eventually resort to its crucial plot twists. Just that, as is the American way with television, they will drag the drama out before they get there. In the original series Claire murders Frank eventually, and with the latest season her hatred of Frank has reached dangerous levels. The vile tension between them was especially amped up towards the finale episode.
In a recent interview with the Daily Beast showrunner Beau Willimon addressed the contentious points in the show, which included the deteriorating dynamic between Frank (Kevin Spacey) and Claire (Robin Wright).
Showrunner Responds To Criticism Of Rachel's Murder On House of Cards
Willimon spoke about a scene which comes disturbingly close to sexual violence between Frank and Claire. The showrunner dished about what inspired the scene and what it meant to convey about the relationship of the couple.
"The scariest thing for us, narratively, was to take the core of this show, its greatest strength -- this unorthodox, unholy union between these two people -- and see it break apart," Willimon said. "It had to be violent, and not just physically, but psychologically. What we're seeing is a rift. It's had 28 years to grow stronger, and through the course of a very short amount of time in the White House, it's come apart."
If this relationship continues to ride the downward spiral, it wouldn't be outlandish to assume that Claire might do something drastic to Frank.
