On Tuesday, Digital Spy posted the details from Deyes' interview with ITV's This Morning where he said that he tries to focus on the good comments he receives instead of the nasty ones.

"As soon as you see one comment that hits you hard, it does affect you...but I don't think it [bothers me] too much because there's a lot of positivity," he said. "I'd rather spend a minute replying to something positive than a minute arguing with somebody over something negative. I'd rather spend my time dedicating it to people that support me."

Deyes, the boyfriend of another YouTube star Zoe Sugg, then pointed out how he noticed that online harassment takes place all over and it's important to speak up about it.

"I see so much stuff online because a lot of my audience are younger, going through hard times, and I didn't realize how much bullying was happening online," the vlogger said. "So I always tell people to speak out."

Deyes also revealed that one of his biggest challenges of being a YouTube star is trying to think of more creative ideas to show viewers.

"But often the people watching the videos say 'try this' or 'do this,' and that's the best thing because the interaction is so immediate," he said.
