"Oh, it's a terrible show," he says. Frank went on to emphasize the disingenuity of the series, stating that no one should take it seriously. "It's the kind of thing that debases people's view of politics."
He proceeded to attack Kevin Spacey's character, Frank Underwood, on the show: "People say he is remotely realistic, who is he?" he asked. "He isn't anybody, there hasn't been anybody so morally loose."

In fact, according to Frank, the show is damaging America's image in the world. He even cited an incident wherein a colleague of his was told by an ambassador of another country to not tell him about human rights and he had watched House of Cards, and knew things worked in America.
He even brings West Wing up as an example of a good political drama, while emphasizing how misleading House of Cards is. Frank recently wrote a critical piece on the show, which was a great relief to members of Congress, who told him that they had suffered because of the show.
Frank finally puts the final nail in the coffin by saying that the show is a "bizarre horror story."
This is very amusing, as it comes at the heels of a recent Spacey interview, wherein he stated that Bill Clinton lauded th accuracy of the show.
The actor, who is famous for his impressions, put on his Clinton voice and told Gotham magazine about Clinton's approval of the Netflix drama: "Kevin, 99 percent of what you do on that show is real. The 1 percent you get wrong is you could never get an education bill passed that fast."
Season 3 of House of Cards is available for streaming on Netflix.
