LuAnn de Lesseps and the rest of the Real Housewives of New York are back, and thankfully, they are bringing a lot of juicy drama to the small screen this season. Lesseps recently opened up in a new interview about the cast, her good friend Ramona Singer and how things have definitely changed for the ladies of the Big Apple.

According to Reality Tea on Monday, Lesseps says that while some doors are opening and others are closing, she's doing her best to stay by her friends' sides as they deal with some tough issues in their personal lives this year.

She said, "I'm back on the show full-time, having the time of my life and a total blast with the girls. Over the past year, I've been simplifying parts of my life and ramping up others."

As far as her co-stars Ramona Singer and Bethenny Frankel, who both are going though divorces with their ex-spouses right now, Lesseps says it's been tough watching them trying to stay strong, despite the pain.

The Countess said, "It's tough to watch Bethenny and Ramona's marriages crumble, especially with young children involved. It takes a serious emotional toll, no matter how strong you are. Bethenny is a trooper, and I hope it all works out the way she wants it to."

As far as her relationship with Singer, Lesseps explained, "Ramona seems to be handling her breakup pretty well, but beneath that tough facade, I know she's hurting. We have a different friendship this season, and I know some of you are going to be pretty shocked by this new Ramona. I welcome it with open arms."
