The jurors in the murder case against former NFL Patriots player Aaron Hernandez have finally reached their verdict and the defendant was charged with first degree murder for the killing of Odin Lloyd.

Aaron Hernandez Found Guilty of First Degree Murder

After spending six days deliberating, a Boston, Mass jury convicted the former NFL star for murder and various gun charges. Judge Susan E. Garsh then sentenced him to 25 years to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Some of Hernandez's former teammates including Brandon Spikes, and other football players like Marcus Vick and Chris McCain have opened up about the jurors decision on Twitter and while some are saddened by the shocking news, others believe that justice was served.
