Jamie Dornan News 2015: Actor’s Dad Created The ‘Circular Soccer’ Concept [VIDEO]
It looks like both good looks and athletic skills run in Jamie Dornan's family. A new report says that the Hollywood actor's father, Professor Jim Dornan, is the man behind the idea of the "circular soccer" revolution.

According to the Belfast Telegraph on Thursday, he recently conceived the idea to help kids learn better soccer skills on the pitch. Jamie's father said the idea came from his own childhood when he used to play soccer with his own father around a box or an oil barrel in his backyard.
He told the site, "It's hard to play a competitive game of football when there are only two of you, one in goals and one shooting. I started thinking that there had to be a more engaging way to play with smaller numbers, where attacking and defending skills, practice and fun could be experienced."

He added, "Basically what we're doing is taking an end-to-end field sport and playing it towards the middle. We have a three-sided goal called the Trigoal and it means that the kids get more chances to be on the ball, to tackle, to pass, to play triangles and best of all, to score."
The 50 Shades of Grey star himself put up a good fight in a "circular soccer game" with the world's best golfer, Rory McIlroy.
According to Time Magazine on Tuesday, the two Irish hunks played a quick match of the new phenomenon, which is a game played around a central point with a three-dimenstional goal. The site says it is being trialed by FIFA as a way to encourage better technical skills among players.
And while Dornan showed off some pretty impressive skills himself, McIlroy ended up winning the game.
