'The Fosters' Season 3 Spoilers: Brandon Befriends A Music Composer As Callie Meets A Runaway [VIDEO]
It's going to be quite an epic season on The Fosters as new characters join the show to add more intriguing plot details.

On Tuesday, Variety announced that three actors will be coming aboard the series. The first one is Katherine McNamara who will play Kat- an attractive and excellent piano player who Brandon meets in Idyllwild.
McNamara's other credits include New Year's Eve, Girl vs. Monster and Contest.

Keean Johnson will also be joining the ABC Family drama as Tom, a talented music composer who Brandon becomes friends with. Johnson is known for Spooksville and as Colt Wheeler on ABC's Nashville.
Then there is Tom Williamson who will play a runaway named AJ, someone who Callie meets at a drop-in center. Williamson is known for Dark Knights and All Cheerleaders Die. He also played Kip in an episode of Switched at Birth.
One of the big storylines that fans are probably excited about is where the relationship between Jude and Connor is going to go from here. Jude finally announced that they were together after dealing with a number of unfortunate issues in previous episodes. This includes Connor being shot in the foot, his controlling father and if he really did have feelings for Jude.
There is also the matter of what happened in the horrific car accident with Jesus, Mariana and Ana.
The Fosters Season 3 premieres this summer on ABC Family.
