Jenny McCarthy News: Radio Host Likens 'The View' To 'Serial Dating', Says Approach Will Cause It To Be Cancelled [PHOTO]
She's been extremely vocal about what she think the fate of her former show, and Jenny McCarthy's predictions that The View would be off TV within a year haven't changes.
Are Jenny McCarthy & Donnie Wahlberg Trying For A Baby?
The Dirty Sexy Funny radio show host told Confidenti@l that she believes the show will be canceled within a year, because the higher-ups are having a hard time picking a formula they can stick to when it comes to everything about the show--which she says hurts the program overall.
"I only say that (will happen) if they don't stick to that idea--which is to allow something to simmer rather than transitioning so many different things, like, change a chair, change a table, change the background, change the people," she said. "It's like a serial dater. Stick with one boyfriend and don't go on Tinder. Give that relationship all you've got and ride through the bumps and waves."

In the past year, the show has seen a revolving door of co-hosts. Barbara Walters retired in 2014, followed shortly after by McCarthy and longtime co-host Sherri Shepherd's firings. Rosie O'Donnell returned for a short and tumultuous stay before quitting for personal reasons earlier this year as well, and has not been replaced by anyone permanent, with a host of celebrities doing short stints since.
In addition, the show has redesigned its set, changed its time slot and been moved from the network's daytime division to the news division.
Overall, McCarthy says, all of those changes are causing problems because nothing is sticking around long enough for fans to get used to it.
"If it doesn't boil quick, you're out," she said. "I feel like they're not allowing anything to grow. They want instant gratification. So they're very scattered, and until they kind of commit to an idea, I think they're going to have problems."
McCarthy even added that she thinks Walters' leaving didn't help--but that the producers shouldn't be discouraged that her departure means the show can't be revived.
"I think to some extent, yes, but I think the longer they give it time, a new generation (of viewers) become first-time mommies and they get used to having those faces and growing up with them through those first baby years," she said. "That, too, will take time. But for right now, it's still left missing the captain."
