She recently came bac k to L.A. from Paris but eas forced to retreat back to her new home city once again after Liam (Scott Clifton) refused to rekindle their romance, but Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) could make yet another attempt on her happily ever after on The Bold and the Beautiful.

According to We Love Soaps, Wood is in fact confirmed to be returning once more--and this time she could stick around quite a bit longer, choosing to go back on contract with the soap.

"I hold this character close to me like I would a best friend," she said. "I want to slap some sense into her whenever I see her heading in the wrong direction, which happens so often. So, yes, she's a mess. But a very strong mess. Steffy will always have her feelings for Liam, but now she's coming back to fight on a much bigger scale. And it's going to be bloody."

It is unclear how long the contract is for, but Wood is expected to be seen back on screens again beginning May 26,

Wood's last appearance at the soap wrapped in March, and she was back for approximately two months, as Steffy returned to L.A. to potentially help Liam with his plan to take over Forrester Creations and remove Rick (Jacob Young) as CEO--something he couldn't do without Steffy's shares. However, despite her best efforts, Liam was resistant to her terms--she would only give him her shares if he ended his romance with Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) and rekindled things with her. Following his refusing to do as she wanted, Steffy left for Paris once again.
