'Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Season 7: Kandi Burruss Says Phaedra Parks Lied About Beef 'Threw Me Under The Bus For Sympathy' [VIDEO]
Fans (and even Kandi Burruss) were shocked when Burruss and Phaedra Parks' friendship seemed to take a turn for the worst on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta; but now Burruss has accused Parks of stirring up the drama to gain sympathy from viewers.
E! News caught up with Burruss and she started by saying that Parks' claims that Burruss went long periods of time without speaking to her while she dealt with issues concerning her husband Apollo Nida was "a flat out lie."
"I could name you every event, trips we took, all last year up until the season started taping. And when the season started taping, we were together every couple days. So what point did you and I go months without talking? Or are you throwing me under the bus for getting more sympathy votes? What is going on here?!"

All eyes were already on Parks this season as Nida is in federal prison on an eight-year sentence. He pleaded guilty to several serious charges including identity theft and tax evasion last year. During the season, Parks said Burruss, who is Parks' closest friends on the show, was not there for her like she should have been. So Parks turned to two unlikely new friends-NeNe Leakes and Porsha Williams. Fans saw that this left Burruss in tears as she tried to sort out what was really wrong in their friendship.
Even though they seemed to make up on the girls getaway to The Philippines, they haven't gotten back to where they originally were. And it's not clear if they ever will. Burruss said she learned that the hard way after taping the reunion recently.
"I just left the reunion not really knowing where we stood for real. This whole season has put a weird little taste in my mouth about our friendship. When [Phaedra] expressed she was having issues, she never expressed them to me. I had to watch the show later on-months later-after taping to see that she was expressing these feelings to other people...If she was feeling that way, why didn't she ever say anything to me?"
See the first part of the reunion special Sunday at 8/7c on Bravo.
