Only a week has passed since former NFL star Aaron Hernandez was charged with first-degree murder and now it looks like he could be facing more criminal charges.

While the news about Hernandez's three separate cases comes as no surprise, it was recently reported that Odin Lloyd's mother could be planning to file a wrong death suit against her son's murderer.
On Wednesday, TMZ reported that Ursula Ward has not made up her mind about whether or not she will go through with the suit but the idea is definitely on the table. Because Hernandez was a high earning football player, the lawsuit could be potentially worth millions of dollars.
Sheriff Thinks Aaron Hernandez Will 'Probably Do Fine' In Jail
Due to the fact that Hernandez was charged with murdering her son, the odds are that she will probably win the civil case against him.
According to the site, Ward wouldn't go in to detail about why she was indecisive but it could possibly be so that she could move on and not have to relive the horrific tragedy of her son's death. Despite her decision, the former Patriots player will still face a judge at least three more times for separate cases.
As previously reported, Hernandez was allegedly involved in another double homicide that took place in 2012 near a Boston nightclub and he is also involved in another civil suit.
Prosecutors believe that back in 2012, Hernandez fatally shot Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado when he shot into their 2003 BMW. Another passenger in the vehicle was wounded and two others were uninjured.
According to the site Hernandez is also being sued by a man named Alexander Bradley, who claims the former athlete shot him while the two men were in a limousine back in February of 2013.
Hernandez has pleased not guilty to the all of the charges against him.
