'Teen Mom OG' Stars Attend The 2015 MTV Movie Awards

During a new interview, the reality star opened up about how starring on MTV for the last several years has helped her become a better mother to her young daughter, Sophia.

"Looking back at past seasons from '16 and Pregnant,' 'Teen Mom,' and to now, I've realised how to become a better, loving, and more responsible mother," Abraham told Entertainment Tonight Online on Monday. "I'm just living my life and I'm being the best mother that I can and showing that on 'Teen Mom' because that's what that show is about."

How Much Did The Cast Of 'Teen Mom' Get Paid For Appearing On '16 & Pregnant?'

Abraham's Teen Mom co-star, Amber Portwood, agreed with her sentiments, claiming she too has learned from her past behavior on the show.

"I think looking back is a great way to reflect and not a lot of people get to to do that as parents, you know?" she observed.

As fans of Teen Mom will recall, Portwood entered prison in June 2012 to serve a 5-year sentence, but was granted an early release in Nov. 2013. Since then, she's been incorporating herself back into her daughter Leah's life.

"It's just a brand new life for me," Portwood added. "I'm excited."
