Tuesday night, comedian and actress Amy Schumer tried pulling off an epic prank on the red carpet for the 2015 TIME 100 Gala in New York City.
Schumer made it seem as though she was worshipping Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian after faking a fall in front of them.
Craziest Moments From Coachella 2015
In the video TMZ shared on Wednesday, Kardashian looks mildly amused whereas West is not having any of it, but 33-year-old Schumer told People that at least Kardashian found her prank humorous.
"She was like, 'That was really funny,'" Schumer said of Kardashian's reaction to her silly stunt.
The comedian took to Twitter to share an image of her prank unfolding and thanked the gala for having her.
While this prank may not be the best prank ever, there have been others that haven't worked out that well either. Below we have listed a few other pranks that needed more planning, better execution or different targets for various reasons.
Ashton Kutcher's prank on Kardashian is at the top of this list since she was unfazed, which is shocking considering Kutcher's prank was golden.
Kardashian wasn't very responsive with Schumer, but she was even less responsive during Kutcher's prank in 2012 for his MTV show Punk'd. The socialite barely paid attention to what was going on around her such as her sister Kourtney's significant other Scott Disick getting arrested after accusing a fan of stealing his wallet since she was too busy texting. Check it out below.
Kim kind of shrugged the entire ordeal off, which doesn't seem like the typical response a person would have to such a situation.
Justin Bieber's fast food prank from a few years ago, as seen below, is another celebrity prank gone wrong.
Bieber had the brilliant idea to try to confuse a Burger King manager by attempting to return a Wendy's Frosty there. The Canadian singer almost crashed his car into one of the fast food joints and even got ice cream everywhere since he grabbed the ice cream cones by the ice cream instead of the cones.
One Direction's Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik pranked their bandmates Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan when they first started gaining recognition in the United States.
Tomlinson and Malik tricked mainly Styles into believing a woman that was their Nickelodeon producer was going into labor at the network's studio they were in.
While the prank was executed perfectly, Styles seemed like he needed to lay down since he became severely overwhelmed, Payne seemed a little frazzled and Horan seemed totally unaffected by the situation that played out.
Another failed prank that is more recent comes from the angelic sounding British singer Sam Smith. On April Fools' Day of this year he couldn't resist tweeting the lame prank that he is in fact straight and not openly gay.
He didn't even let the prank stew for a while before tweeting less than an hour later that he was totally joking.
