Mo'Nique has spoken out after she showed proof that she was the original actress who was supposed to play Cookie in Fox's juggernaut series Empire.

She responded to fan via Twitter Wednesday amid the hustle and bustle of an interview she did that went viral.
The follower wrote, "sorry monique but Taraji was made for the role of cookie. She makes the show the chemistry she has with Terrence is undeniable."

Mo'Nique responded with, "You are so right. She is the best".
One fan who spotted the conversation noted that Mo'Nique's reaction was a pretty nice one. They also encouraged Mo'Nique to stay strong amid all of the drama surrounding her career.

Mo'Nique made headlines Wednesday after an interview she did with Sway In The Morning earlier this week hit the Internet.
She brought actual emails printed out that proved that Empire's co-creator and director Lee Daniels was vying for her to have the role of the now infamous Cookie in the series. The emails between a rep for Daniels and Mo'Nique however also revealed that the network decided to back away before signing Taraji P. Henson on to the role.
Mo'Nique has said in the past that she was originally tapped as Cookie but many didn't believe her because it was around the time she also said Daniels told her she was blackballed in Hollywood after the two worked together on Precious. So at the time she appeared to be a woman scorned. But now she's provided proof. Check it out below.
