During the taping, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star owned up to her mistake, but sadly stormed off set mid-interview after feeling she was under attack.
"I'm beating myself up over this," Richards told Dr. Phil in a sneak peek at the April 28 episode, via an E! News report on Thursday. "I poured a drink of vodka, and I thought, 'Oh my god, what have I done?'"
Kim Richards Furious After Dr. Phil Intervention
As the interview continued, Dr. Phil asked Richards if she had been lying about her sobriety for the last couple of years. He then called her out for not being a good mother to her four children, Kimberly, Chad, Whitney and Brooke.
"You are drunk in a bar, fighting with a cop. This is not good parenting," he told her.
"Is this an intervention?" Richards then asked, as she got up to leave.
On her way out of the interview room, Richards told Dr. Phil and her family, "I'm sorry, I can't."
"Kim went into the interview with an open mind and genuinely wanting to do the interview but once she got there she became very upset and frustrated. Her frustration grew because she began to realize what she was in for," an insider told E! News. "Her kids were starting to talk like it was an intervention and Kim couldn't handle it. You could tell she felt cornered and hadn't realized what she had signed up for."
