In a recent interview, Constance Zimmer, who played the part of Janine Sorkosky in seasons 1 and 2 of House of Cards, hinted that she might be returning in the next chapter.

Speaking to The Hill, Zimmer revealed that she was not quite dead yet. She told the publication that her character was still alive after she went MIA after Zoe Barnes' death. In fact she is hoping the creators write her back into the script with season 4. "Bring[ing] me back," she said. Basically, Zimmer wants Sorkosky to get back to bolster Frank Underwood's (Kevin Spacey) downfall. "Someone has to bring down that f---er," she said.

This could be interesting as things are predicted to get darker for Frank, and Sorkosky could catalyze the process of his downfall.

Meanwhile the development for season 4 is underway and showrunner Beau Willimon is busy writing the storyline with his team. The official announcement of the show's renewal was made via the show's offical Twitter account, with a promise to not let all of Frank Underwood's (Kevin Spacey) hard (bloody) work go to waste. "I will leave a legacy. #Underwood2016" stated the caption for the image announcing the return of the show. Season 4 will be premiere in 2016, but the exact date has not been set yet.
