Dallas Hammer of Tennessee celebrated his dog Dexter's first birthday on Sunday, April 26, in the cutest, most hilarious way possible!

Obviously dogs are not born to humans so Hammer wished his pooch a "Happy Birthday" via spelling out the words with some delicious kibble, but also revealed to Dexter that he's adopted.

Dexter didn't seem too shaken up by the news as he sat happily looking at the camera after glancing at the message his owner left for him in kibble. Hammer's joke has lead to some hilarity on Reddit especially after he told another user who commented on how well Dexter seemed to take the news, "I think he still can't read."

He revealed he thought Dexter realized what the message in kibble said while sharing a photo of himself with Dexter donning green party hats, which would make it seem like Dexter was enjoying his birthday celebration, but his expression is a mix between shocked and scared.

On Twitter, Hammer shared another photo of himself with Dexter, which seemed as though the pooch was back to being okay since his expression was no longer shocked and scared.

Dexter's newfound Internet fame seems to have exhausted him aside from his birthday party festivities with his owner.

Hammer eventually tweeted a photo of Dexter rocking some shades since he's definitely a celebrity now!
