After it was announced that Eye Candy would not be returning for new episodes, unfortunately it appears that it's going to stay that way.

Fans Help Spread Word Of Renewal For 'Eye Candy' Before Cancellation

Typically after a series comes to an end, a massive amount of buzz starts happening. This includes petitions, social media trends and insight from the cast and crew. But when the MTV thriller's leading actress Victoria Justice took to Twitter to mention that there would be no more episodes, it appears that everyone has accepted it.

This creates a difference from other canceled series' like Witches of East End, which gathered a whole mess of reports following the non-renewal. This show received a petition that currently holds more than 133,000 signatures. Eye Candy, on the other hand, received 16,000 signatures, but that petition has been closed.

'Eye Candy' Character Trends 'Worldwide' On Twitter

Not to mention, none of the actors from the series have said much about the show since the cancellation announcement. And if there was enough social media chat, then it's possible that it would cause others to check it out. But at this point, it might be time to make peace with the fact that Lindy and the gang will have to live on only in fans' hearts.

Justice mentioned in her announcement that she couldn't be more thankful to the viewers who stood by the show.

"It's because of all of you that I get to do what I love," she wrote. "I am beyond grateful for that. It made me so happy that you embraced the show the way you did. I was lucky to have you guys along for the bus ride because you made it that much more exciting!"
