In a recent interview with Entertaiment Weekly, showrunner Michelle King revealed if the latest episode was the last time fans would get to see Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) on The Good Wife.

The Good Wife Renewed For Two More Seasons?

King stated that this was not the last of Kalinda, and that the detective would appear in the finale of season 6. "Yes. We will see her," she said.

She went on to reveal that fans wouldn't be left with an open, loose ended conclusion to Kalinda's story, as seemed likely in the last episode, titled 'The Deconstruction.' There is more to come and it will hopefully render a more neat completion to the detective's story on the show.

"[The finale] answers a lot of questions regarding Kalinda, which I think there will be some mystery about," she said. "Has she truly left the show? Or are there still beats to be handled with, or story elements to be handled with her? So [the finale] answers the question of Kalinda for the year."

In another recent interview with TVLine, co-creator Robert King said that Kalinda would be "renewed" as she leaves the show. Michelle had added that Kalinda would "land on her feet" before her exit from the series.

The next episode, titled 'Don't Fail,' will air on May 3 on CBS.
