Victoria's Secret Angels have been around since 1997 and this year the biggest class of new inductees into the elite Victoria's Secret family was just announced Tuesday.

Victoria's Secret has given wings to 10 new Angels after news of Karlie Kloss retiring her own wings came earlier this year.

"MAJOR NEWS: we're adding 10 new models to our Angel roster!" the Victoria's Secret Instagram gushed as it welcomed them by tagging them.

In Honor Of International Dance Day 2015, Here Are 8 Movies To Watch In the video below, the 10 models that have reached Angel status are shown as they all have previously walked in Victoria's Secret fashion shows. VS officially contracted Kate Grigorieva, Taylor Hill, Elsa Hosk, Martha Hunt, Jac Jagaciak, Stella Maxwell, Lais Ribeiro, Sara Sampaio, Romee Strijd and Jasmine Tookes! As part of getting to know the new Angels better, the VS Instagram shared a snippet of information about each of the newly winged models. Grigorieva hails from Russia and walked in her first VS fashion show last year. She's also "an accomplished ballroom dancer." That agility will surely continue to come in handy on the future VS catwalks.

Hill also is a new face to VS, only first walking in the fashion show from last year. The 19-year-old grew up on "a Colorado horse ranch."

Hosk is a 26-year-old Swede who used to be a "professional basketball" player in her homeland.

Hunt is a 26-year-old from North Carolina who has been walking in VS fashion shows since 2013. In the past on the catwalk she has been adorned with wings, which the VS Instagram noted.

Jagaciak is a 21-year-old from Poland that previously ran track and field.

Maxwell like Grigorieva and Hill only just walked in her first VS fashion show last year. She is a "globetrotting UK native" that has lived in Belguim, Australia, New Zealand and anywhere her modeling career takes her.

Ribeiro is a "Brazilian beauty" that loves salsa dancing!

Sampaio is "a brown belt in karate, plays the violin & loves to surf" aside from modeling of course.

Strijd is a 19-year-old Dutch model that also only walked in her first VS fashion show last year.

Lastly, California native Tookes is an "awesome gymnast" besides being an awesome model!

These 10 new Angels are joining established Angels Lily Aldridge, Candice Swanepoel, Behati Prinsloo, Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima.
