'Bold and the Beautiful' Spoilers: Ridge Makes A Shocking Decision About Forrester [VIDEO]
His brother has been making Forrester Creations a hostile work environment for everyone, and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) may finally have had enough of the way things are going under Rick's (Jacob Young) tenure as CEO on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Maya's Secret Threatens To Be Revealed
Since Rick took over the position from Eric (John McCook), he has been almost unbearable to work for--trashing the work of all of his designers and telling them they can do better, ordering them to design with Maya (Karla Mosley) in mind since he has promoted her to lead model, and setting prices on the finished products insanely high. Though this has translated to success with the numbers the company is seeing, the treatment-and his ego that he is solely responsible for the good fortune--has caused everyone to become fed up.
Now, Ridge will try to convince Eric to void the terms of the CEO contract he gave Rick, which awarded him with irrevocable control for one year, because Rick isn't giving credit where it's due--but once again his complaints will fall on deaf ears as Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) overhears and once again berates Ridge for trash-talking her son.
Rick Announces His Plans For A Future With A Maya
"I heard you mention my son's name," she says to Ridge in a preview clip for the Thursday, April 30 episode. "He's not here to defend himself, so I will."
However, knowing he will have to argue against Brooke will cause Ridge to give up his arguments, knowing that he won't be able to get anywhere with them as a result.
"I'm not going to argue with you because it is pointless," Ridge says to Brooke in the clip.
Because he knows he will get nowehere trying to plead with Eric to reconsider his decision, the situation could cause Ridge to threaten a drastic move--walking out of the company for good and taking his design talents elsewhere...which could cause the company to crumble as a result.
The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
