'Criminal Minds' Season 10 Spoilers: Garcia Delivers Bad News In Sneak Peek From Finale [VIDEO]
Fans can gear up for the season 10 finale of Criminal Minds with a recently revealed light-hearted sneak peek.
Jennifer Love Hewitt To Leave Criminal Minds In Season 10 Finale?
TVLine unveiled the clip on April 29, and it shows Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) break some bad news to the team in a funny way. As our favorite members of the BAU are headed back into office, the elevator doors open to Garcia holding on to two big pizza boxes, which she offers to the team. Kate Callahan (Jennifer Love Hewitt) is seen politely showing aversion to the smell of the pizza as she is pregnant. Before Garcia can get to the heart of the matter, the team catches on, and know she is using the pizza as a cover. At which point, she tells them that they would probably have to work overnight, as some very crucial meeting has been rescheduled and pushed up. The team looks visibly disconcerted at the revelation.
The finale is going to be an emotional one, as was suggested by showrunner Erica Messer in a recent interview. Speaking about the last two episodes with Entertainment Weekly, Messer revealed a bit about how things will go down in the concluding episodes of the show.
Criminal Minds Renewed For Season 11?
"By the end of episode 22, we do a mini cliffhanger in that we know that Meg and her best friend are being kidnapped by the guy we saw in the premiere," Messer said. "[The finale] is our team fighting for one of our own to get her loved one back.
Messer did reveal similar details in a previous interview with Zap2it, but she did not state that one of the BAU members' dear one's would be stuck in the mess.
The most interesting bit of information was that the finale will actually tie in with the premiere on the show, by bringing back the criminal from the first episode.
"We will bring back the creepy, Internet stalker guy from the premiere. That story will be tied together," Messer said.
Also, fans can be assured of the fact that there would be "no major deaths" in the concluding bit.
The next episode will air on May 6 on CBS.
