‘Curvy Brides’ Premiere: TLC’s Vivacious New Show Airs Tonight Following Bridal Salon Curvaceous Couture Selling Plus-Size Wedding Dresses [VIDEOS]
TLC has popular bridal shopping shows such as Say Yes to the Dress, but most of the dresses tend to fit females of slimmer figures.
That's about to change tonight, May 1, since Curvy Brides will premiere at 9:30 p.m. ET, which focuses on a bridal salon in Columbia, Md. that sells wedding dresses for all shapes and sizes, especially those of plus-size stature.
The bridal shop, Curvaceous Couture, is a family business, owned by Yukia Harris Walker and her sister Yuneisia Harris, and they believe "every woman's wedding dress selection experience should be as joyful and fulfilling as possible."

On their website, they note they carry dresses that range in size from 12-44 so they do truly embrace curvy women.
The bridal salon came to be since Yukia had her own struggles shopping for a dress for her special day seeing as she is curvier so her and sister decided to make a change, which proved to be a brilliant decision since "business is booming," according to their TLC page.
In the first video below, you can preview what this show has to offer this season, including some laughs especially with a little dog dressed up in a dramatic tutu.
In the second video below, the sisters discuss the different types of curvy figures they see in their bridal shop and how they help find the perfect dress for each bride that walks through the door.
Tune in tonight to watch the premiere of Curvy Brides!
