The Good Wife's Julianna Margulies has been validated as a Hollywood icon as she finally earned a star on the Walk of Fame on May 1.

The actress, whose illustrous career has been highlighted by ER and The Good Wife, was honored with a star in Los Angeles.
Michael J. Fox, who plays Louis Canning on The Good Wife, spoke about Margulies at the event, joining Leron Gubler, the President and CEO of Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. Margiulies looked stunning in a black dress at the event.
The Good Wife Renewed For Two More Seasons?
Other than her very succesful actress of television, Margulies is now also a producer on The Good Wife.
She won an Emmy, Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in ER. She also picked up a Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guils Award, and Emmy award for her role as Alicia in The Good Wife.
Season 6 of The Good Wife is nearing its finale and Margulies recenty spoke about Alicia going back to law and leaving politics for good.
In a recent interview with E! Online Margulies revealed that Alicia might not have it in her to fight it out and play dirty anymore, and this might be the last fans see of her in the political arena.
"My guess is she's going to stay away from politics...I think she's so disgusted with the system," Margulies said.
The next episode, titled 'Don't Fail' will air on May 3.
