Kate Middleton Makes Her Last Appearance Before Giving Birth To Her Second Royal Baby
Middleton gave birth to the new (unnamed) baby in the same hospital that Prince George was delivered in 2013.
Kensington Palace released a statement at 11am that announced the new arrival. Prince George arrived at the hospital at 4pm to join the gathering in meeting his little sister.
Finally, at 6pm, The Royal Princess emerged in-hand by Middleton with her dad nearby, just as was done when Prince George was born.
It's worth noting that Middleton, only 12 hours after going into labor, looked stunning. She had her entire makeup done and her hair styled as she wore a custom-designed yellow dress and pearl earrings. Her nails looked freshly manicured and she still carried her pregnancy glow.
After the two emerged and debuted the new arrival, President Barack Obama sent them his best wishes:
"Michelle and I are delighted to congratulate the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Family, and all the people of the United Kingdom on the birth of the Royal Princess. On behalf of the American people, we wish the Duke and Duchess and their son George much joy and happiness on the occasion of the arrival of the newest member of their family."
