After some digging and analyzing Den of Geek has some revelatory insights on the anatagonistic elements in season 4 of Arrow.

Could Ra's al Ghul Die In The Finale Of Season 3 Of Arrow?

In fact a minor villain from the DC universe will be given a more pivotal role in the season according to the report. Damian Darhk, who is a wrecker in Teen Titans, is speculated as being the next villain.

The report strengthens this speculation on the basis of the latest episode, Al Sah-Him. In the episode, Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable) informs Oliver (Stephen Amell) about Darhk, and how he had previously wished he headed the League of Assassins.

Darhk is also known for his strong connection with H.I.V.E. Reports from earlier this year hinted at the huge role H.I.V.E would also play in creating trouble for team Arrow.

Speaking to TVLine, David Ramsey, who plays Diggle revealed that other than Ra's al Ghul and H.I.V.E will be causing major trouble for the team in season 3.

"H.I.V.E. is a part of the Big Baddie next season, so expect H.I.V.E, like Ra's al Ghul, to affect the whole team," he said. "We're going to get into why they hired Deadshot to kill [Diggle's brother] Andy, who they are, what they do.... H.I.V.E. thus far has been quiet, kind of set back. [The writers] kind of planted them in a place last season or the season before that, and Diggle hasn't really talked about them much, but H.I.V.E. is something very, very serious. They're going to present big-time difficulties for Team Arrow."

More recently Ramsey (John Diggle) also spoke to E! Online about H.I.V.E's role in the next season.

"From my understanding, H.I.V.E. is going to be a big part of next season's big baddie...We are going to delve right into why H.I.V.E. hired Deadshot to kill Andy and what H.I.V.E. is all about to begin with. There will be a lot of Diggle's connection to H.I.V.E. next season so stay tuned."

'This Is Your Sword' will air on May 6 on The CW.
