'Jurassic Park 4' Spoilers: 'Jurassic World' Goes Down 'Original Road' That None Of The Movies 'Dared To Travel' [VIDEO]
A new featurette for Jurassic World, brings the of the two films Jurassic Park and Jurassic World together, by emphasizing how the new film contemporizes and rejuvinates the legacy of the original.
The clip features vignettes from both films, and interviews with the cast and director of Jurassic World. Steven Spielberg, who helmed the franchise and is producing Jurassic World also speaks about the originality of the new movie.
"It goes down an original road that none of the other movies ever dared to travel," Spielberg says in the clip.
Jurassic World Has A 'Really Cool Factor To It'
In the start of the clip, actors Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Ty Simpkins, and director Colin Trevorrow tip a hat to the original, each talking about how deeply it influenced them during their childhood and what an honor it was to be part of this project.
"To be here making Jurassic World is crazy but it is also very moving," Howard says.
While talking about filming the movie, Pratt, who plays Owen Grady, talks about what a ball it was, and how it mostly felt like they were part of this one big party.
Jurassic World also stars Jake Johnson, Vincent D'Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, and Judy Greer.
The film will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
