Erica Mena’s future husband Bow Wow isn’t the only celebrity ecstatic she walked away from the controversial VH1 series Love & Hip Hop New York.

CBS news anchor Gayle King made it clear she couldn’t be happier Mena is no longer on the series as well.

Mena revealed the news via Instagram Tuesday. She shared a picture of her and King smiling it up for the cameras. In her caption she revealed King’s words to her about leaving Love & Hip Hop New York.

“Mena I’m so happy you’re off that show.”

The former reality star added, “I couldn’t agree with you more.”

As much as fans loved #MenaMondays, they seem proud of the firecracker for leaving the series as well.

Her fiancé, whose real name is Shad Moss, even responded with “Woman power!”

“She seems much happier”.

“That’s what’s up you look beautiful and family life looks good on you. We all have to grow on day.”

“I’m glad you’re off too! Can’t do it forever…time to grow and move on to bigger and greater things! Keep grinding boo!”

“Oh she’s definitely better off!!”

“I love the new Erica..”

Mena’s last episode was during the reunion series. She taped it in a separate interview away from her ex cast mates to avoid any drama. During the season finale Bow Wow also took to his Facebook to show he was happy Mena left.

He wrote on March 30, “Proud of you baby! no more ratchet n hip hop! THANK THE LAWD!!!!! Time to put on now! Mrs moss”.
