Just in time for Mother’s Day, Tamar Braxton got extra emotional when talking about her mother, Miss Evelyn on The Real.

Braxton, who also stars with her mother and famous sisters on WeTV’s Braxton Family Values had many special words for her mom.
“I just wanna take the time to tell you how an amazing mother you are,” she began as tears strolled down her face almost immediately.

Mama Evelyn stood backstage and watched her daughter give her tribute.
Braxton continued, “You practically taught your daughters one by one to be very strong women; to never give up on our dreams, because you didn’t. You were an example.”
Braxton went on to reveal that Miss Evelyn even enrolled in school after giving birth to the "All The Way Home" singer, who's the youngest of six children (five girls and a boy).
“With all of those beautiful lessons, my favorite lesson is when we’re feeling down and when we feel like we can’t make it, you instilled in us ‘you don’t have that much pride in the world you can pick your face up, put some lip gloss on and get your life.’ I love you so much. You’re my best friend ever.”
She then credited her mom for helping her be a good mother herself.
“If I’m half the mother you are I have been successful. So thank you so much.”
