The CW released a sneak peek video clip on Wednesday night of Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Caroline (Candice Accola) having a bit of a heart-to-heart. Check it out below!
Elena is once again human after ingesting the cure and Caroline appears to be feeling some guilt from her vicious words when her humanity was turned off.
'The Vampire Diaries' Creator Admits She Tried To Get Nina Dobrev To Stay On The Series
At first in the sneak peek clip, Elena is seen doing her make-up for Jo's (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) wedding to Ric (Matt Davis).
Caroline, meanwhile, is back to her typical organized nature, going through a checklist of things for the wedding.
She panics though when Elena goes to grab something near the hot curling iron since Elena can get seriously hurt now as she no longer is a vampire.
"Yes I see it," Elena informs her worried vampire friend, before adding, "I'm human now, not blind. And I'm not fragile either. You don't have to walk on eggshells around me."
"I do actually because if you walk on them, they can cut you, you'd get infected and probably die," Caroline tells Elena in reply.
Elena, oddly enough, then agrees with Caroline's theory since she hasn't had the best of luck.
Caroline then asks Elena about how life as a human is going, which leads to a lot of guilt surfacing on Caroline's part.
"Look, I'm so sorry Elena. I was trying to hurt you when I said that you would never truly be happy with Damon [Ian Somerhalder] because you weren't human. And now you are. And I just hope that it's not because I made you think that you would be miserable for eternity," Caroline said.
Elena reassures her that's not the case though.
