She wanted the truth about her to remain a secret until she was ready to confess it to Rick (Jacob Young) herself, but now, Maya (Karla Mosley) may be forced to do the thing she didn't want to a lot earlier than expected on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Rick Demands Answers From Ridge

Ever since her sister Nicole (Reign Edwards) came to town and revealed she knew that Maya was transgender, the lead Forrester model has been forced to confront the truth much more--especially after Carter (Lawrence St. Victor) also learned her secret. Now however, after realizing that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Eric (John McCook) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) are also aware, Maya may begin to unravel.

"I'm not pretending to be anyone!" she shouts in a preview clip for the Thursday, May 7 episode. "I am not Myron and I never really was."

However, her defense of keeping the secret isn't something that is sitting well with Rick's family--and they could put the pressure on her to tell, meaning that she will need to face facts that she's at risk of losing everything she's worked for since coming to L.A. and joining the company.

However, Rick's family members are also considering the fact that Rick could potentially surprise them all--and not react as negatively or as badly as they think, and could be accepting of why Maya kept it a secret.

"Do you think there's any chance that Rick will not have a problem with any of this?" Ridge asks Brooke in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
