After finally talking things out during the Nurse's Ball, the two decided to let their being on opposing sides no longer stand in their way and run off together. But those plans could be stopped in their tracks by an unexpected shock.

Duke told Anna he would meet her at the docks at midnight so he could tie up a loose end--his planned hit on Jordan (Vinessa Antoine). However, he could wind up being too late to stop it from happening--and as a result, Anna could learn he was the one trying to kill hr informant.

"I have something to tell you," Sloane (Grayson McCouch) says to Anna in a preview clip for the Thursday, May 7 episode.

However, Sloane could be giving Anna some news that is even more devastating. The two believed that the hit they knew the Jerome organization was planning was the one on Jordan--but they may finally wind up realizing that the hit is meant for Duke--and it could be too late to stop it from actually happening, as Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) catches up with his target.

"Just the man I wanted to see," he says to Duke in the clip.
