Her biggest fear has come to life, and now, Maya (Karla Mosley) will be forced to face facts and start making plans to actually be honest with the man she loves on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Maya Begins To Unravel

Though she initially believed the only ones who knew the truth about her being transgender were her sister and her ex-fiance, Maya has not learned that Rick's (Jacob Young) mother, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) has also learned the truth. And unfortunately for Maya, Brooke's fierce protective nature when it comes to Rick has taken over--and she is extremely upset that the woman her son has decided he wants to propose to because she's so honest with him, has been anything but.

As a result, Brooke has now threatened Maya to tell Rick the truth within the next 24 hours--or she will out her instead.

Rick Demands Answers From Ridge

"Tell him before he pulls out that ring," Brooke says in a preview clip for the Friday, May 8 episode. "Before he asks you to be his wife."

Now, Maya will have to start preparing for potentially losing everything she's ever worked for, because if she tells Rick and he is not okay with the truth, or the fact that she too lied to him, she will lose him and her place in the Forrester Mansion--and could even lose her job as well if Rick has a breakdown over the news.

Meanwhile, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) has caught wind of his brother's plans for Maya, and since he was warned that he isn't allowed to be the one to tell Rick the truth, he will be forced to tiptoe around the subject when he's giving Rick his false congratulations.

"She obviously gives you something that no one else ever had and I find it difficult to even see you with another woman at this point," he says in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
