Raven Symone’s character Olivia definitely shook things up on Fox’s Empire it was revealed she had a child with Lucious Lyon; and if it’s up to the actress, we’ll see more of Olivia on the upcoming season.

Taraji P. Henson Confirms If ‘Empire’ Was Cancelled ‘Do NOT Believe Everything You Hear’

Empire has indeed been renewed for a second season after seeing tons and tons of success for its debut season earlier this year. Now fans and viewers can’t help but wonder what’s in store for the new episodes including who will return.

Raven spoke with Entertainment Tonight earlier this week and said she wants to not only make more appearances, but get close to an unlikely ally.

“What do I hope will happen next season? Well, I hope that my character comes back and has more of a relationship with Cookie, and has the ability to kind of fight for her position in Empire’s company being that her daughter is an heir, and maybe give some of that money.”

It won’t be shocking to see more of Olivia on Empire. Interestingly enough, when she first came on the show, she claimed that her daughter’s father was Lucious’ son Jamal Lyon. But in a huge fallout and blowup near the end of the season, it came out that Lucious actually fathered the little girl. Unfortunately for Jamal, he had already grown close to the young girl and gotten used to the idea of her being his daughter. But that does explain why Lucious was adamant about the child living with him and not Jamal.
