In a recent interview with Yahoo! showrunner Robert King teased some exciting bits from the upcoming finale of season 6 of The Good Wife.

Alicia To Be More 'Humble' And Will 'Soften' In The Finale

While many of the spoilers that King hinted at have been revealed one way or the other previously, there was one that hadn't been talked about much. Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox) will be returning in the finale and things are not going to look pretty. Until very recently Canning's life was in danger, he was lying in a coma-like condition in the hospital and many presumed this would be the last they'd see of him. But he is set to return, King revealed, and that too, in full force.

"He has one of the most intense scenes I've seen from him, where he just explodes in anger," King said. "It was a really fun scene to edit because each time he did it, he did it a little different. I've never seen him explode with that kind of anger before. I think the audience will enjoy that."

A glimpse of Canning is also seen in the preview for the finale, entitled 'Wanna Partner?'

In other spoilers, King spoke about one of the most anticipated bits, i.e. Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) and Alicia's (Julianna Margulies) final meeting. He assured fans that Kalinda's appearance wouldn't be in the form of a flashback, as was the case in the most recent episode.

"There aren't any flashbacks in this episode," King said. "It was all present day with Archie. It has to do with Charles Lester [played by Wallace Shawn]. It's, unfortunately, complications that have come out of Kalinda leaving. What we kind of wanted to do was play this kind of as if it were an encore. We thought people would think that was very abrupt two episodes [ago] when Archie left the scene, and wouldn't be prepared for it, and we wanted to have a little surprise, but also a little emotional jiggle, and then have her come back in these last two [episodes]."

The finale is set to air on CBS on May 10.
