Sam and Andy are the forefront for relationship drama on the upcoming season of ABC’s Rookie Blue, but a new teaser reveals that Traci and Chris might be giving them a run for their money when it comes to most dramatic couples.

Traci, who went through her own battles last season (mainly an ugly custody battle with her ex Leo), gets lots of comfort from Steve, but just like season 5 he’s moving a little too fast for her.

He tells her “everything is gonna be fine,” in whatever she’s dealing with. But when he tries to get intimate, she immediately pulls away.

“I’m sorry. There’s just a lot going on right now.”

Chris also returns to Rookie Blue this season. And while he’s sobered up and no longer battling with drugs, he hasn’t seen the last of his personal issues.

In a separate promo, Gail points out that Chris seems like he’s doing much better. But then he drops the bomb, “I’m seeing a married cocaine addict. But she’s sober now.”

Gail responds, “And there it is.”

Things seem to come to a head when the mystery woman surprises Chris in a parking garage.

“What are you doing here?” he asks. “Who is your husband?”

On top of that, Sam and Andy deal with his ex, Marlo, returning and being pregnant with his baby. Division 15 and their love interests have lots to deal with this season.
