'General Hospital' Spoilers: The Mob Wars Heat Up After The Hits On Duke and Jordan [VIDEO]
More than a few hits have gone down in Port Charles recently, and a lack of truth behind why they were ordered could reignite the bloodiest mob battle on General Hospital yet.
Julian (Michael DeVry) ordered a hit on the new Corinthos head, Duke (Ian Buchanan) after he interfered with Julian rebuilding the Jerome organization--and Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) managed to succeed at shooting Duke after the Nurse's Ball ended. However, he didn't succeed just yet at killing his boss's rival--and he could know now that it means he's in big trouble. Not only would being unsuccessful at killing Duke get him in trouble with Julian, but ti would cause him to be sent back to Pentonville for violating the terms of his parole.
"I'm in real trouble Sabrina," he says to Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) in a preview clip for the Monday, May 11 episode.
Meanwhile, Duke managed to get to his meeting place with Anna (Finola Hughes) so the two could be successful in their plans to flee Port Charles and live out the rest of their days together, but the wound he suffered to his stomach caused him to collapse--and he could actually be too late to tell Anna who took him away from her for good.
"Who did this to you?" she asks him in the clip.
However, Duke isn't entirely as innocent as he seems. Though he tried to call it off after he and Anna made their plans, he initially ordered a hit on Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) after realizing she was working with the police. That hit also proved to be unsuccessful after Jordan managed to trick Bruce and kill him instead. However, now that her boyfriend, Shawn (Sean Blakemore), another mobster knows she was nearly killed, she will need to tell him something--without blowing her cover.
"Who tried to kill you?" he asks her in the clip.
Because telling the truth would expose herself as a mole, Jordan may be forced to claim it was a Jerome planned attack--and it could propel Shawn to incite a major call for war.
General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
